Design your Destiny

Today was the first session of a new programme for leadership skills, organized by my college. The person who handled the session had really inspired me. He shared many facts about life which were really practical. To point out particularly, the thought he put forward about our own destiny was excellent.
What do we guys do in general in case we face some set backs in life? We conveniently blame it on our fate and say that- my life has been destined to face failures!! But believe me friends, it is not so.

So now.. let me prove my above mentioned statement to you:

"Ladder of Life" - This ladder basically consists of 5 steps, each step leading to the other. They are your:
  • Thoughts
  • Actions
  • Habits
  • Character
  • Destiny
Here goes the explanation.......

When you focus your thoughts on something, you'll definitely put it into action.....
When you continuously perform those actions, they become your habit....
The consistency in your habits constitutes your whole character...
And yes, Finally your character decides your destiny...

(Read those lines again and try to relate them to your case.. You'll realize how true they are!!)

So, when you are the master of your thoughts, you are definitely (directly) the master of your destiny too. Hope you agree with me for sure.
And, hence the proof of my statement!!!

Well, don't think that I'm being philosophical. Life needs a bit of that too!!! So, start deciding your destiny!

Beaches - No more a thing of beauty!!

I'm sure all of us had been to beaches, be it in any country. The first thing which would remind me while talking about a beach during my childhood days would be the cool breeze and the dancing waves. Its such a pleasure to walk along the shore with your trousers folded, letting the waves kiss your feet. But believe me guys, this is not the case anymore. The minute you enter my hometown's beach.. Or even before going into the shore, you can see two two heads everywhere, not even bothering the burning sun. Lovers it seems!! Well, I don't say that spending time with your beloved ones is a crime. But the level of physical intimacy is equally important when you're present in a public place. I really don't understand what the guy is researching for inside the girl's salwar!!! We are still living in India, a country known for its rich heritage!! What are bedrooms with four walls for if the couples indulge in all sort of disgusting activities in front of everyone??
A guy or a girl, who really cares for his/her beloved one, would never do such filthy acts.
It is a depressing fact that the scenic beauty of my hometown's beach is not becoming enjoyable due to the humble acts of some 'True Pairs'!!
I still keep wondering whether this is the case everywhere!
